Positions
Postdoctoral Research Fellows
The Center has several funded postdoctoral positions available in fMRI studies of high-level cognition. The positions offer training and research opportunities working with a multidisciplinary Center team from cognitive psychology, neuroscience, statistics, and MR physics, that uses state-of-the-art facilities and develops advanced methods for investigating cognitive systems. A research background in computational modeling and cognitive neuroscience is desirable.
The positions are associated with several different fMRI projects that focus on visual cognition, language processing, cognitive workload, decision making, executive processes, cognitive development, and cognition in high-functioning autistic individuals. One position is particularly associated with computational modeling of cognition and brain function.
There are likely to be one or two new positions available. Applicants interested in a Center-funded position should send a curriculum vitae, statement of research skills and interests, preprints, and have letters of reference forwarded to:

Candidates whose research interests are a close match to the Center's work are also encouraged to apply for competitive national fellowships to do postdoctoral work at the Center. There are several possible sources for such fellowships, such as NIH (NRSA), NSF, and the McDonnell-Pew Program in Cognitive Neuroscience (www.jsmf.org).
